| What
is the next step? If you are
finding it difficult to deal with your
particular issues, you may require some
professional help to negotiate your way
through these difficulties. Please dont
hesitate to telephone for further
information or an appointment.
An appointment
can then be scheduled for an initial
meeting to find out a little more about
the issues at hand and about the service
offered.
What
happens in the first session?
The first session
is a time for you to speak about what has
brought you to counselling. You will not
be asked to do any questionnaires or
tests. The process is one that is paced
according to your requirements and you
will not be expected to work through
issues beyond those that you are
comfortable with.
The session will
last for approximately 50 minutes. If
mutually satisfactory then further
appointments will be scheduled.
What to do
if you cant attend your scheduled
session?
Current policy
requires 24 hours notice if you need to
postpone or cancel an appointment, or the
full fee will be required to be paid.
What are
the fees and appointment times?
There is a
standard fee charged for each session.
All payment of fee requirements will be
openly discussed at the first session.
Seniors and Health Care card discounts
available on request.
